Only 576P Selectable For Ps3. Anything Else Causes Serious Flickering.

Hello everyone. I'm trying to setup my Roxio now that I finally have a Component Cable but I have hit a stumbling block.

 

I'm trying to set the correct resolutions for the input and I only seem to be able to select 576p. Every other option up to 1080i causes serious flickering. Am I doing something wrong with my setup?

 

Thanks! I know this is probably something simple and I'm a bit of a ding dong over the whole thing, but it never hurts to ask.

I managed to get the PS3 side of things working. However, I have the choppy screen when playing PS1 games on the PS3. Is there anything I can do about this?
