Ken Burns Effect

At one time Roxio Photoshow offered the Ken Burns Effect. It really makes the Photoshow look great. I can't find it in the options anymore. Have they dropped it?

Bill, How long ago was that and are you sure it was PhotoShow? It is not in PhotoShow 5 or 6. I don't go back any further than that.

This is from WIKIpedia:

On the Windows platform, 4K Slideshow Maker by 4KDownload, AVS Video Editor, Windows Movie Maker, Pinnacle Studio, Sony Vegas Studio (and Movie), Ulead VideoStudio, Adobe Premiere, PicturesToExe also have pan and zoom features built in or available through third party extensions which may be used to achieve the effect. Microsoft Photo Story is a free application that creates videos with both random and customiseable Ken Burns Effects automatically from selected images. Another free multiplatform Ken Burns effect application is PhotoFilmStrip

On the Mac platform, Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Express, iMovie, Adobe Premiere, and others

If you are talking about a pan and zoom style it is still available under other styles.. You can't do any adjustments to the effect though.

It took a while for me to get back. Thanks for the information. Photoshow did have the Ken Burns effect at one time. Here is one of my photoshows that had it: http://www.photoshow.../watch/nN3Ha8NN

Perhaps they stopped ofering it due to band width issues.

That effect is still there as sknis mentioned in his post of last Sep 2013 - it is called Pan & Zoom and the user has no control over it.

I don't understand what you mean by "they stopped ofering it due to band width issues."
