Rip Causes System To Hang

I have tried unsuccessfully to rip numerous commercial audio CD's Creator Pro 2012. When the program tries to access the player it becomes unresponsive requiring the program to close. I have tried uninstalling and repairing the software but the results are the same. I am able to make data CD's and copy data CD's. I use the Music/Audio tab then select RIP. I'm using a Dell Studio 1735 running Win 7 Pro 32 bit.

Try following this exactly as written.Afterwards try reinstalling and see what happens.Could be a nasty leftover not being removed.

Make sure to turn off your anti-virus and firewall temporarily while you reinstall.

 

I've ripped many,many cd's using both Rip and Rip-Advanced and not had problems.

I followed the instructions to the letter. And Creator Pro hangs (Not Responding). I have tried this twice with the same result. I don't know if this is related but Roxio Edit Audio Tags hangs also when you try to identify the tracks. Thanks for any help.

How is your internet connection?

 

Are you getting any error messages?

I have a good internet connection and no error messages. iTunes is able to retrieve data from the internet with no issues. The program during the install is able to download data from the internet.

I was unable to get Creator 2012 to RIP CD's or get TAG information. I purchased Creator NXT Pro 2 and the problem is solved. Thanks to all who tried to help.
