Cannot Activate Mpeg-2 Codec

I am running Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning version 9.0.554 on an HP Pavilion w/Windows 7.

 

I'm trying to burn a slide show to dvd and receive a popup that says I must activate codec mpeg-2. I walk through the steps and then receive an Invalid Product Key message.

 

Any idea why?

Yes. Neither Easy Media Creator 9, nor Easy CD and DVD Burning 9 are compatible with Windows 7.

 

The first version of Easy CD & DVD Burning which would work under Windows 7, is version 10. The current version on sale is version 14.
