Cd-Key Said Not Activated When Trying To Re-Install

bought the program about a year or two ago. my system crashed and i had to 0 fill the hard drive and re-install everything. when trying to install roxio easy cd & dvd burning i entered the cd-key and was told it was not activated. i know the cd-key is correct because the program is registered with the roxio web site. how do i correct the problem so i can install my program? this is the same disk and cd-key i used when i installed it the first time, and the operating system is windows xp just like before.

Contact Roxio directly, and ask them what they can do for you.

i sent them a customer support ticket about it and i'm still waiting for them to respond.

I just exchanged an at the register validation copy for the new one on the shelf at Wal-Mart, It has the metal strip the trip the door alarm you don't need the pre-activation thing.

WRONG!

 

ALL Version 14 Red Box version must be activated at the point of sale or they will not work!
