Does this topic help you? http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/90172-videowave-loses-sound-in-windows-8-split-from-another-topic/page__hl__lpcm?do=findComment&comment=454898

You might be encoding your audio with something other than LPCM, so that your DVD players can't read it.

Thanks for the speedy reply

1) yes It's windows Media Player with video and audio present

Everything plays perfect in the production window

To preview the project in MyDVDpressing play/pause button only the title clip plays repeatedly, over and over again

Pressing the OK button stops this action and the movie plays with audio.

2) I can not find any other encoder than PCM. Where is LPCM located?

Thank you

Peter

Hi Peter,

It's not explained in that post I pointed you to, but to get LPCM you need to go up the top left toolbar to File >project Settings, and you'll see a menu box open.

Click on the pulldown next to the Preset box, and select Custom. Once you've clicked on that, go down to the Audio section and click the pulldown alongside Audio Format. Select LPCM there.

The LPCM setting is only available when you select Custom preset.

Thsnk you for the help

I have audio/video playing on Windows Media Player as well as on DVD/TV

I will post a question here regarding endless playing of title page, if I should use a new post please advise

Title keeps on playing endlessly when viewed in "preview project" window

and in finished DVD

In production mode select "Output"

select "sent to MyDVD"

select "DVD"

The following window select "preview project"

Title page plays in preview and plays over and over again

The setting "repeat your title" can not be changed?

Selecting "OK" will stop this play and movie will start.

Pressing "Pause/play" button works OK

Is there a setting for a smooth transition from this title page to the movie when I insert my DVD in a player ?

Thanks PJHR.

Best to post your next question as a new topic, in the 'Disc Burning and Playback Issues' forum.

That way we can close this topic, and your new one will be in the right forum with its own descriptive heading. Perhaps something like Can't uncheck 'Repeat Your Title' ?

Regards,

Brendon
