Can't Trim Video - Split From Old Topic.

I just purchased this product and i want to trim my video, however the "edit movie" nor "trim" button is grayed out so I cannot click it for trimming. the only thing it allows me to do is "edit chapter" . Can anyone help. I also noticed that in the "edit chapter" screen the movie has a "locked chapter" near it.

Please provide more information about where you got the movie file, the video format and information about your computer.

 

The lock simply means that the first chapter of the movie can't be changed.(unless you trim it off).
