How Do I Turn My Video Clips 90O In Editing?

I transferred my family video clips from my tablet and created a dvd but the video only views sideways in MYDVD, and on the DVDDisc when played on my PC and DVD Player.

thanks a lot guys-- thru more googling I found that Windows Movie Maker in windows 7 will do it as well. I was taking the cell video,had to convert it to avi,then opened it in Movie maker, rotated it 90degrees, sved it,then put it into Videowave--asc ratio look good, just has space onsdes
