Question

It is unbelievable that there is no p;ace to input problems with Roxio products. I jsut bought this vhs converter, can't get it to work, and the website does not allow anyone to call them. Thay do not want to be bothered woth a simple technical question. It is all on line help bullshit. I do not have the entire day to !@#% around with this. They have my money and I guess they are finished with me!

Nic3e attitude. Why come here, we are not Roxio nor are we Corel employees. We are people who try to help - even those with attitude.

 

You didn't tell us what version you bought so it is hard to help. My guess is that you didn't follow directions so you plugged in the device BEFORE you installed the program. Windows will install the incorrect drivers so the device won't work. With the device plugged in, go to Windows device manager, uninstall the 2 instances of the drivers, unplug the device and reboot. Put he3 disc back into your drive and select to repair the installation. Once that is done, plug in the device.. It should work.

Your attitude will probably prevent you from following the instructions properly. Corel has a 15 day money back guarantee. .Go to the top of this page and select support. You will get some useful options there (duplicates of what is available on the main pages).

 

Somes like you are under a deadline and you really don;t want to put any effort into this. Get your money back or donate it to charity!

I find it unbelievable that some folks have their heads so far up their a*s that they post in the General Forum instead of scrolling down to the forum for the product that they have. ;)

I know exactly where he's coming from...first of all, I'm sure JIM123456 posted with the hope that someone from Roxio would see it and get in touch with him, since nothing is working. Secondly, this is the general chat so it could apply to anything. I made a similar comment and it would have done no use to go to my product's forum because it had nothing to do with the program. Finally, he's right...it's very difficult to report a problem; I did get through via telephone and was promised that someone would be in touch, but they haven't. If customers have not had similar problems, be thankful. As for me, I'm already doing research to find another program I can use because my work is being delayed because of the product key.
