Never Been Really Happy With Toast

Jim Wilson

Question

I have always had bugs with the versions of Toast that I've purchased over the last decade. CD/DVD ejecting difficulties, program just hanging up. I decided to give this version a try so I spent 99 bucks for Toast 11. Imagine my surprise when it wouldn't install on my new iMac. I'm done with Roxio, not only are their products buggy, they make it nearly impossible to get technical help, other than conversing here with fellow dissatisfied users.

I did some research and it seems that you can override the unknown developer install block by clicking the option key as you click on the app in finder. I'm installing now (in Mavericks) so I'll let you know how it installs and performs.

OK, looks like I have an apology to make. The first two DVD's burned flawlessly and considerably faster than Toast 10 Titanium on my other Macs. Time will tell, but so far I/m pleased with Toast 11 interfacing with Mavericks.
