Question

Hello,

I just tried hooking up the Roxio easy VHS to DVD and am having some problems getting the audio to record.

Here is what I did:

- I hooked up the VCR to my computer via the cables that were supplied.

- I took the yellow, red, and white RCA cables and plugged them into the audio / video out of the VCR

- I plugged the yellow, red, and white RCA cables into the usb adapter and plugged the usb into the computer.

That did not work for the audio.

Next I tried an rca / microphone jack adapter:

- plugged a red & white RCA into the audio out and the microphone jack to the microphone input.

I still didn't hear any audio.

I am showing the video on the screen in the roxio program, it just doesn't have any audio.

Please let me know if you anyone has found a solution to this problem.

Thanks!

What do you mean by "You want to keep everything in the Roxio Video Capture USB. Don't use your computer audio. " How can I push all of the audio to Roxio?

That is automatic when you connect to the USB Device... ;)

But in your first post you said you tried hooking up the Audio to your PC Microphone jack...

Some others: You do have Line in for Roxio as a default Recording Device?

In your Device Manager yours must match this?

AND you have not muted or lowered the recording volume???
