dman9969
Hello, I just tried hooking up the Roxio easy VHS to DVD and am having some problems getting the audio to record. Here is what I did: - I hooked up the VCR to my computer via the cables that were supplied. - I took the yellow, red, and white RCA cables and plugged them into the audio / video out of the VCR - I plugged the yellow, red, and white RCA cables into the usb adapter and plugged the usb into the computer. That did not work for the audio. Next I tried an rca / microphone jack adapter: - plugged a red & white RCA into the audio out and the microphone jack to the microphone input. I still didn't hear any audio. I am showing the video on the screen in the roxio program, it just doesn't have any audio. Please let me know if you anyone has found a solution to this problem. Thanks!

You want to keep everything in the Roxio Video Capture USB. Don't use your computer audio. Edited November 11, 2013 by Jim_Hardin

0 Jim_Hardin
What do you mean by "You want to keep everything in the Roxio Video Capture USB. Don't use your computer audio. " How can I push all of the audio to Roxio? That is automatic when you connect to the USB Device... But in your first post you said you tried hooking up the Audio to your PC Microphone jack... Some others: You do have Line in for Roxio as a default Recording Device? In your Device Manager yours must match this? AND you have not muted or lowered the recording volume???
