Password Protection For Bd-R Discs? Any Way Of Locking Viewing Access?

Question

Has anyone discovered a way of blocking viewing of a Toast burned BD-R disc, similar to

what can be done to a DVD? Is there some password protection option available?

Doesn't it work to click the "Use Encryption" option when burning a data disc to Blu-ray media? You need to choose Mac Only as the format in the Data window for this option to appear.

Sorry, but I wasn't more specific - I am burning MPEG2 or H.264 video files to Blu Ray discs, and

the encryption options is only available in the 'Data' blu ray disc section, not the Blu Ray Video section.

You say this was possible with video DVDs but I've never seen that option in Toast. I've never seen a DVD that required some kind of password to view, either. Maybe there are DVDs and Blu-ray video discs that trigger parental controls on a player but that would require more advanced authoring software than Toast. Toast authors universally playable video discs.
