Signal Protected

stlkid314

Question

At first I was able to record fine on the Xbox One. I recorded a clip of battlefield 4 no problem then all of a sudden I get a Signal protected status, isn't that usually for like HDCP protection? Something the the Xbox one doesn't have? Anyway I turned the Xbox off for the night the next day Booted everything up and it worked again a few hours later I get the protected signal again. Not sure whats going on no settings have changed, I'm not on Netflix or anything just gaming.

I having been having the same problem only thing is Roxio never seemed to worked for my Xbox One it is always showing that the signal is protected even after restoring it to factory default and multiple cable exchanges. I talked to Xbox support and they were saying it was either an issue with my Xbox or with my PVR.

But NOTHING to indicated it was a Roxio issue...

Same thing is happening to me. Can't seem to get rid of the signal protection problem. So much for Xbox One being supported by this cap card...

Roxio works just as intended, nothing wrong with it!

Pay attention, it is an Xbox One issue!

Frankly I doubt Xbox has any intention of "fixing" something that is working as it was designed...

At this point the ONLY solution is to use a HDMI to Component converter between the Xbox One and the RGC :(

Update: Look at Post #3 HERE and see if that works for you?

...and let us know if that works for your!
