Enhancements Don't Work

I have a 20 minute VHS recording that is about 25 years old. Needless to say it looks its age. I have loaded it onto my PC using Easy VHS to DVD plus 3 and go to the enhancements tab and click the color correction box, but the program just sits there. The color correction in progress box comes on but it just sits at 0% complete. I looked through this forum and don't understand what I'm doing wrong?

How long in time do you give it setting at 0%?

Sorry for the delay responding. I have given it as long as 6 minutes. Computer specs are:

 

HP Pavilion g7 notebook with windows 7

AMD Phenom II P650 dual-core processor 2.60 GHz

4.00 GB Hard Drive

64-bit operating system

It has to go through the whole file so Length makes a big difference.

 

Your PC isn't too bad though...

 

Try this - Load a clip and trim it to 5 minutes length! (Don't Save!!!)

 

Apply some Enhancements and see what it does to a short clip like that.

Unfortunately it doesn't' work. I trimmed it down to four minutes and the program just sits there at 0% complete. You would think after a few minutes it would show some progress if it was working. Program is probably corrupt but I downloaded the upgrade and not sure if there is a way to get a new download?
