Adequate Processor Speed For Video Editing With Roxio Game Capture Hd Pro?

My son has a Intel® Pentium® Processor T4300 (http://ark.intel.com/products/37253/Intel-Pentium-Proce...). He wants to start capturing/editing videos from his game consule (ps3/XBox360). Will this process be adequate for such an endeavor using Roxio Game Capture HD PRO? I am more concerned with the editing equation. I don't want to purchase the hardware/software package and realize that I don't have enough power to push through the editing portion of the equation.
