Software Will Not Download

hey all need some help, i installed the software on my 2 hp computers 1 vista 1. 7 .. the vista would not run do to a virus, i reformated vista , an tryed to install the software again . i get this..... this operating system does not meet the minimum requirements for roxioeasy vhs to dvd 3... I am running vista home primem 32, hard drive 640, an 3.5 gb ram, ... ! my unit can handle this software , helpppppppppppp

Note with Vista you need SP1 for the software to work correctly.

 

Try it this way - make sure you are installing with an account that has Administrator Privileges.

 

Then use Explorer to locate the 'Setup.exe' file on the disc.

 

Right Click the file and choose Compatibility.

 

Make absolutely sure it is not using any Compatibility setting!!!!! No check boxes checked.

thanks jim for info , it did the trick,, now i know how much updates an service packs help your computer .. an to all update !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! , thanks fred
