Roxio Hd Pro, Incorrect Drivers

CHIKENnoodlePOOP

Question

Hello, I've recently bought a Roxio Gamecap HD Pro on Roxio's website. I followed all the instructions, forums, everything and i have my computer constantly installing a "Fujitsu Hx5 driver". I knew that it was not correct because this is a Roxio product not a Fujitsu product. I looked at ALL the forums towards this problem and haven't found a solution. I've done EVERYTHING from Repairing, Uninstalling the driver, Installing again and so on. No Luck!

So i've done basically done everything that other forums have said to do. I know that the Fujitsu Driver is pointing to the GameCap because every time i unplug the game capture the driver disappears off the list. I don't know what to do now so i'm hoping with all my dreams that you guys can help me out!!!!

This exact phenomenon is happening to me. I've attempted install on three different PCs, two running windows 7 and one running windows 8. They all install the fujitsu H5x video capture driver even after receiving the game capture pro hd update. When I start the Roxio game capture pro software I see a green "no signal" when the gamecap hd pro is connected to my usb port. Have you found any solutions?

This a strictly a User Error...

Plug it in - Locate the wrong driver in your Device Manager and Delete it!

Now follow these steps:

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

FYI - - - NEVER insert any USB Device into a PC until you install the software ;)

Actually to be honest i hate to correct you but i talked to roxio tech and they sent me a new Game cap. It happened to be that i had a faulty game capture because immediately when i plugged the new game cap in it worked!!! Try contacting Roxio for a new Capture or return the Roxio to the location you bought for another Capture.

Just because you had a faulty device doesn't mean the other two posters have the same. Thery have never come back and expand on their problem and what they have done to solve their problem.
