bimicher
How can you burn and make the disk so that it can't be copied? You can't if you are doing a video DVD. In any case with the right software almost every disc can be copied so there really is not much point to it.
Brendon
Put the disc on a half-full cup of water in your microwave oven. Two seconds of power will ensure nobody can ever copy [or read] it.

REDWAGON
However---depending on the disk, it might be illegal to copy it. But as suggested--it can be copied

Brendon
The OP is talking about "home-made" discs not commercial discs. I don't understand where the OP said "home-made" discs. He just asks how he can burn a disc and make it un-copyable.
REDWAGON
The OP is talking about "home-made" discs not commercial discs. Understand Walt. Just was trying to suggest to the OP my thoughts about disk copying no matter what kind it is.
Sanjim76
Thank you everyone for the replies. We are making disks on family histories/genealogies at our historical museum and selling them as a fund raiser. That was the reason for the question. We'll just hope for the best. Thanks again. Jim_Hardin
In that case include a notice of Copyright along with the statement the copy is forbidden as an introduction on the DVD. There is little else that can be done
