Toast 11 Error

I have latest Mavericks on my mac and the latest update on Toast 11 (Titanium). I am having problems burning DVD's. I get this message if anyone can help that would be great.

"The drive reported an error: Sense Key=Hardware Error Sense Code=0x44 0x90 Internal target Failure"

Please help on how to fix this.

I get this message in the middle of burning a movie on a DVD.

Your best bet is to try a different brand of DVD media. I suggest Verbatim. You also can choose Save as Disc Image in Toast's File menu instead of clicking the burn button. Then burn the resulting .toast file to DVD using the Image File setting in the Toast Copy window. It might not hurt to also completely shut down your Mac and wait a few seconds before restarting.
