Roxio Gamecap Hd Pro: Gamescreen Appears In The Software, But Not On Tv

Hey all,

 

As said above, my software finally decided to work on my laptop after a few weeks of tinkering with settings, so very excited i finally was able to record...not...

 

My gamescreen does appear on the preview window in the software, but my tv screen is all black...

 

What do i do?

I managed to figure it out! The roxio had it set to 1080p, but my tv cant do that resolution, so i switched to 1080i on my tv in the xbox settings, and now it works! but thanks anyway!

Word of advice, DON'T capture at 1080i. 720p will have just as good quality with a smaller file size AND 1080i will have to be de-interlaced. I mean, it's your choice, but as I said I personally would use 720p.
