Adding Text To Frames In Movies

I have just had to buy this as my previous 2 versions of Roxio (Paid for) don't work with windows 7.

 

I have just started to turn my holiday pictures and movies into a DVD but after adding about 20 crawling texts it now tells me I cannot add any more as you can only add 5 texts???

 

If this is the case I may a well bin it and buy something that can?

Add your text to the internal track of the image or video where you want it to show up. It sounds like you are trying to add it to the external track. You can add up to 5 on a extrnal track and up to 5 on EACH internal track. You will have to adjust the length of the text or the duration of the image display to get all the text in. If your video is too short, consider capturing a screen shot of a image in the video and add the text to that.

Thanks that was interesting but what I was doing was adding the scrolling news to the bottom of the Pictures or videos as I think it looks neat to tell where the item was taken.

 

I had already put about 20 on when the error came up.

Could you explain exactly what you are doing? Where are you putting 20 texts?

Do the same as in the video but select "News crawl" text effect. Do it to the internal track or you will screw up everything if you decide to move or add an image or video.

As shown in the picture I am putting them on a picture or Video so that it scrolls to the left stating where the scene is or what happens s in a running commentary.

Wow Thanks I just tried again using the internal display button and it still didn't work then I noticed that I was placing it in the first entry asking where to place it (Production) which is where I presumed I wanted and ignoring the bottom one that says Internal and it now allows to add more.

 

Does his mean that I need to delete those I have added and put them on the internal instead of production??
