Importing Videos Taken From A Phone

JessLinke

Question

I am trying to import a video that is saved to my computer, but it was originally taken with a phone. When I try to import it in Roxio Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus, I am not able to locate the video when searching for it. Can anyone tell me how I can import these types of videos so I can convert them to DVD, or is this not possible?

Why don't you simply connect your phone to the computer and copy over the video files. Roxio VHS to DVD 3 is mainly for capturing analog video from a analog camcorder or VCR player

As Walt says, this is probably not the right program for you. We can suggest one IF you tell us what format the video is. IPhones are typically something like 3gpp.

If you don't want to spend a lot of money, try the free Windows DVD maker after you copy the video files to your computer. That is a stopgap solution. If you are going to do a lot more videos or you want more than one on a DVD, let us know and we can suggest Roxio/Corel solutions.
