Is the 'late' consistent???

to get a 'late' audio to line up, you have to Add a Blank Panel before the clip.

That gives you the room to slide the added audio to the left so it can be aligned ;)

Best bet is to feed you live commentary into the RGC Box During the recording rather than trying to add it later... (use the White/Red ports on the RGB)

Try zooming in on the timeline. To do this you click and drag on the numbered section, to the right to zoom in. The the larger the section the easier it is to make changes in a very small specific spot. This is if you record the audio outside of the capture card with something like audacity or windows sound recorder.

EDIT: You do need space before and after your audio file to be able to move it around.

Live commentary cant be done with the card, not because the of the card not having the option. But because video game systems don't send your voice through your TV, they send it through your system to your friend's then their tv. Sorry if I explained this in a odd way, I've never had to explain that before.

But like Jim said, you can record your voice with your card with the red white cables. But you need a 2.5mm female to 3.5mm male conversion cord. If you are planning to do game chat with you and your friends, then you will need more cables if you are using something like, lets say a 360. Youtube is your friend. :3
