Roxio Does Not Record All Of My Gameplay

Question

Hi,

Here's a video link to see what's wrong with my recording:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_-ZMCEQJ9w

All i did in this video is make it shorter by cutting the beginning and the end, so i didn't touch those 1 minute and 51 seconds of this recording

I took a look at my computer screen while recording and noticed that the picture isn't fluid like it was before, sometimes the recording freezes at a certain frame and then it kind of fast forwards a bit to the frame where it supposed to be.

Maybe something wrong with my computer???

It starded doing this 2 days ago and i can't figure out why it's happening or how to solve it.

I unistalled everything os Roxio and installed it again, i've made my computer faster by deleting files and running an anti-virus program,...

PLEASE HELP

So here are my computer s specs.

I don t think its my computer though caus i used roxio almost over 2 years whitout having a problem.

I m defragmenting my computer and the hard drive where i record to right now.

I ll let you know if it works out.

Looking at your system specs it certainly looks like your system is the bottleneck: it just meets the minimum requirements.

Also with <10GB free on your system drive you are bound to have problems. Your "storage" drive (?) is not in any better shape. Frequent cleanups and defragging are the minimum maintenace required on such small drives.

And here i thought i had a pretty descent computer...

You re right, i did have less then 10 gb on my system drive.

After deleting files from that drive and defragmenting it, recording went back to normal.

I recorded 2 hours of gameplay whitout having that problem.

Thanx for the help and sorry for beiing impatient !
