Video Wave Stops Working

Question

When I try to create a DVD, after I select the file, I get a window error stating that VideoWave has stopped working. Since I'm new at this, not sure how to fix or work around. Looking for any suggestions. I'm trying to burn a DVD from captured Tivo movies.

This is a new installation on Windows 7. Roxio Creator NXT 2 version 15.0.5.2; 5.0.0.0 VideoWave Launcher Plugin: 14.0.0.4

You should start by running a proper repair:

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

My installation was from download. I re-executed the Roxio Creator NXT 2 and selected REPAIR.

I then installed the NXT 2 Content.

After restart I started Roxio and selected Create DVD. I selected the TIVO movie file. After about 5 seconds, I receive the error: VideoWave has stopped.

Any suggestions?

Also, TRY SOMETHING ELSE...

If you keep repeating the same steps, you will most likely get the same failures

New Project - slap a few pictures in it - Burn to File

What happens ;)
