Is The Hardware For The Pc Version The Same As The Mac?

Hi there-

 

Is the hardware for the Roxio Easy VHS to DVD the same for both PC and Mac? Would the difference between the two be in the software only? Could I buy the PC version and download the Mac software and have it work? I am trying to buy a used version of this and the PC version is cheaper and more readily available. If anyone here knows the answer, please let me know. Thank you!

You need the Mac Software for a Mac.

If you bought a PC hardware unit, you would need the PC software to run it, the Mac software would not work.
