Too Many Software Issues!

So i have been using the roxio for about a month and it has been a pain because this program is always causing me trouble. Every second day i get the glitch where the buttons are all grey and every fifteen minutes my program crashes and i cant force quit so i have to restart my computer every time. i know its not my computer causing me problems since i have 8 gb of ram, a radeon 7970 graphics card and a 3.5 ghz processor. So help would be greatly appreciated!

So, when you reboot your computer, it works? How often do you reboot your computer?

probably every second or third capture because it crashes.

You cannot End Task through the Task Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del)???

 

If that is the case you have a lot more wrong than just the program!

 

Give us the details from the first 2 sections when you press Win-Pause.

 

What is the length of your captures?

 

Try a proper repair as well:

 

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

 

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

 

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

 

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

 

When you reach the screen where

Repair

is offered, choose that!

 

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.
