Help With Roxio Game Capture Running Problems

Help!! Can someone advise me how to fix the following problems. I have had this product a year now and have bought various leads/hd leads etc to run on my xbox but it still doesn't run properly and I havnt been able to use it. The problems are:- 1) stop game capture from freezing on my xbox, 2) stop making my tv screen turning to a black screen, 3) stop showing only the top half of my xbox dashboard and 4) whilst using in hd form the screen still has fuzzy faint lines across it. Its driving me mad!! Please any ideas for me to try before I sling it!!!!

This is the set up I have. My system is a normal hd tv with xbox 360. Where else do I look for other info?
