Visual C++ Runtime Error On Install

stevedd

Question

I am trying to install NXT2 on windows 7 32 bit.

Right after I enter my serial code before I even hit next, I get a Micorsoft Runtime Error.

I have tried numerous things.

Disabled antiviurs,

uninstalled .net and re installed.

Safe mode

Different computers.

Copy install files from Dvd and ran setup as admin

Made sure directx is installed.

This is a brand new install which has never been installed before, I don't have any other Roxio/Corel products installed on my computer.

I have logged a ticket with the support but I have not gotten much help at all and my free support is set to expire soon.

I am very frustrated.

Any help would be appreciated.

I can not do a repair of the program it is not even installing.

As soon as I enter the last number of the serial key I get the above error message.

I have tried all the "preparing your computer" ideas, everythign is up to date. Even tried safe mode and still had the problem. I am admin on the computer and have tried different computers. I even tried to install this on laptop which was freshly imaged with no other software installed and still have the same issue.

This is the worst level of support I have ever recieved for any product I have ever purchased. I have not gotten any response to any of my emails after entering the support ticket. There is not even a number I can call to speak to anyone directly.

It should not be this hard to install this software. We had the intention to purchase many copies of this program for my institution but when we can't even get it running on one computer to do some testing to see/use the product.......

Not fun buying a $100 Dvd with software which best use would be a coffee cup coaster.

I have already logged a support ticket through that interface, I only have one day left of my free support, I have gotten emails encouraging me to purchase additional support, there is no way i intend to invest any more money into a non working product.
