Is This Actual Tech Help?

Question

So is this actual tech help or people just trying to help each other? I've read through this and other threads and still have no video signal after all the advice thrown around. Reparing, rebooting, updating, unplugging... still nothing. I'm Vista, if that matters any. This IS frustrating and if it is a standard of what people are dealing with, then why not offer step by step on how to solve this in the instructions?
