Roxio Hd Pro Xbox 360 'no Signal' Red

Hi i have a Roxio HD PRO, and i am using it to capture my xbox 360 gameplay. I plugged it all in correctly last night, With HDMI Leads, my Television works fine and i can play games etc, yet when i open up my Software it says 'NO SIGNAL' in red? I have tried repairing, changing my resolution and using 2 different television. Could it be a faulty Roxio HD PRO or maybe im doing something wrong on my Laptop?

Its really frustrating as i believe im doing everything correctly.

If the Pass Through is working along with the Red 'No Signal', good news is that you have installed the software correctly!

Ok, Xbox 360 Hdmi into Roxio Hd Pro Hdmi,

 

Roxio Hd Pro Hdmi into Hdmi Television,

 

Roxio Hd pro power cable to my laptop USB.

 

My tv has signal and i can play games etc when this is together, but then no signal when i open Roxio software

If it wasn't working, the Pass Through would not work!

 

Try an completely different source in place of your Xbox ~ a DVD or BD Player. Also if you would have something with Component Out to try, that would be good

The pass through is working, as i have tv signal and can play games with the Roxio all plugged in. Its just when i open the software, it still says 'No signal'? Maybe a faulty power lead from the Roxio to the laptop, as its not carrying the information across? :S Unfortunately i don't have component, but i will try a differert source ASAP.

Hello again, ive tried other sources and still no signal on my laptop! It says 'No signal' in red. My setup is correct, maybe it is my laptop blocking it somehow on a setting? Id love to know and awaiting your reply, thanks.

The pass through on the RGC Device WILL NOT WORK unless it is Properly Connected to a PC that has the software installed...

 

However those facts of life are no assurance that you laptop even meets the minimum specs

 

Full Specs would be more useful than your assurances that everything is right

Ok so of the pass through is working then my Roxio is all comparable with my laptop. My laptop defiantly has the right specs for this software etc as its quite an upmarket one. The only problem I can now conclude is maybe my television has the problem?
