Vhs To Dvd 3

I have purchased 2 vhs to dvd 3 softwear discs and downloaded them to my computer. When I first downloaded the software the system worked fine now the computer wont acknowledge the soft ware. I purchased a new upgrades and it tells me my computer wont run this software. I am running windows 8 on my computer. Need help fast.

You downloaded what to your computer? Downloaded from where? Or do you mean you installed the software from disc?

Download means downloading the software from a website.

 

You purchased what upgrade? There are no upgrades available for purchase.

 

You post is confusing. What does "the computer wont acknowledge the soft ware" mean? Are there error messages?

This is extensive, but it what I suggest...

 

Unplug your Roxio Capture Device USB and put it aside until you are completely finished.

 

Download and install the

Revo

Uninstaller. Then run it in

Moderate Mode

to remove any traces of Roxio.

 

Create a New User Account with Administrator Privileges.

 

Turn OFF any A/V & Firewall.

 

Reboot and log on to that new account.

 

Copy your entire disc to a new folder on your HDD.

 

In that new folder, right click on Setup.exe and select Properties.

 

Under the Compatibility tab, make sure

nothing

is checked!

 

Right click Setup.exe and select Open.

 

Allow it to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio not Windows)

 

Use the Default Locations!

 

Assuming that goes well, your Upgrade (to the 'Plus'???) should then install without issue

What camera? Analog or digital? What computer name and complete model number?

 

Are you reading thew above re: terminology. Download is to get it from a web site; INSTALL is hthen installing that downloaded program (with your antivirus OFF).!

 

Why did you buy 2 "discs"?
