Green "no Signal" Message With No Options.

StraightEdgeSavior

Question

So it attached a screenshot with my issue on it.

My PC specs are

Processor: AMD A6-3620 APU with Radeon HD Graphics

RAM: 8 GB with 7.49 usable

System Type: 64-bit

OS: Windows 7

I spent 100 dollars on this when it was on sale on Amazon. It should work out of the box with no issues. Everything is plugged correctly, and for the smart-a** that asks "Is the power on?" Yes it is. I'm definitely not buying any Roxio product ever again because from what I hear this happens to EVERYONE.

Your comment "this happens to EVERYONE." is of course silly. Most users have no problem with the package.

Your attached image seems to show that you installed the software/hardware incorrectly. Run the Device Manager and look under "Sound, Video and Game Controllers".

Do you have an entry for "Roxio GameCap HD Pro"? If not the the device was installed incorrectly. If installed correctly it will also show up under "Source" on the main menu page of the program. Did you install the software before plugging in the capture device?

It is installed correctly. Sometimes under source the Roxio Game Capture HD PRO is available but nothing else is and when it is available the "no signal" text is red instead of green

Good! That is moving forward, the 'No Signal' has changed to Red, which means the RGC is not receiving a useful signal...

(it also means the device is recognized and driver installed)

What you need to try is to hook up something else with HDMI or Component Output t the RGC and see what it does. I suggest a DVD or BD Player but as long as it is one of those 2 outputs it will work ;)

Still cant fix it after trying for hours i still have a green no signal message

Please start your own thread instead of hijacking other threads.

It also would help if you were to supply some information on your sustem, etc instead of just post "me too" or "it doesn't work"
