Vhs2Dvd 3 No Signal - My Own Thread

Gil Millett

Question

I have owned the program for over two weeks and it has never worked. No Video Signal. I get a picture to my TV but nothing to the computer. I have changed cables. Did the reintall program. Tried different video tapes, still not working. The Roxio on line support have sent me two messages in over two weeks, they appear to be useless. First suggestions was check cabes and the second time to run the repair program and that was the last I have heard from them.

Hoping you can help me. I have a windows 7 home premum 64 bit running on a Gateway computer

thanks

I bought this program over two weeks ago and it has never worked. I get "No Video Signal". I have tried changing cables. I get a picture on my TV but nothing on the computer. I have turned off my Norton program and did a reinstall, still not working. It appears I have the drivers installed after checking my device manager. I have a Gateway computer with Windows 7 64 bit operating system.

any ideas Thanks

Did you plug in the capture device BEFORE you installed the program. That is usually the problem. Go to WWindows Device Manager, search for the 2 entires related to the capture device, righ clcik on them to uninstall. Remove the device. Reboot. Do a repair or reinstall and then plug in the ISB device. Use a USbB port on the back of your computer (if it is a desktop), not a front USB port or a hub. For a laptop, it doesn;t matter.
