Roxio Hd Pro And A Ps3

jdemaj101

Question

Okay, I've been wanting to start a youtube channel and am deciding on all the stuff I'll need. I was thinking to go with a Roxio HD Pro with my ps3. Someone told me that the videos would be in component instead of HDMI. Would the videos on youtube, that I will make, be seen in HD 720p? If it will be, then what is the point of having AV cables instead of a simple HDMI cord? I am planning on using a snow-globe mic and am going to buy a windows laptop as well. Any help would be appreciated!

What aren't you understanding about this?

HDMI & Component are the same quality - but you must use component with a PS3.

Roxio Captures what it receives, up to 1920 X 1080.

If you put an old 480 Game in your PS, it will be 480 no matter what you do. - there are cards that will capture 480 into a 1920 file but in the end it is still just 480 only the file will be bigger...
