Does Roxio Creator 2009 support VHS to computer to DVD?

If your question is really 'I have Creator 2009, can I use that in conjunction with the Roxio Video Capture USB Device?', then the answer is YES

 

As long as the proper Drivers for the device are installed, it works with Media Capture from any and all versions of Roxio.

Have a few VHS tapes that I would like to convert to DVD's for my Great Grand Children. Have an old VHS player and a computer

with XP operating system. Was looking through some of my old files and found Roxio Creator 2009 together with its manual, discs and

Video Capture USB and input cables. Note that Roxio is selling a new program but thought that it was selling for more money than I

can afford for this project. Question: Do I have to buy the new program or can I use what I have now?

Tom, I am not Jim, but if your XP computer specs are up to snuff, then there is no reason to get a newer Roxio software program.

 

List your computer specs, similar to how I have mine listed in my signature, below.

Yes the specs that GPB asked for would be nice to confirm

 

In and among those discs, do you have one with the drivers for the Capture Device USB???

 

Or did you get the Special Edition that came With the Device?

 

DO NOT insert that device into your PC Before the drivers are installed!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Otherwise, XP will detect it, and install the Wrong Drivers
