Roxio Software Not Working

Zie

Question

Roxio was working fine for the first month then started getting a red no signal. Was fixed for awhile then turned into a green no signal. Decided to uninstall then reinstall software in hopes of getting it to work again. Instead the problems got worse.

-All the option buttons don't work. Can't click anything

-Green no signal still there

-Computer doesn't recognize device

-Sometimes unresponsive.

This is a picture of what it looks like when the software is up. Nothing can be clicked on.

Tried to reinstall but the problem continued.

Most likely you didn't install it correctly... (the Green No Signal is the clue)

First thing is to check in your Device Manager and delete "Transcoder"

Then

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

That should do it for you ^_^

You have made progress, the drivers are properly installed now all you have to do is connect it to a valid signal :D

But you are not supplying any information other than the pictures which are are only a small part...

If it was working and deteriorated, something else might be at play here and that would be in your system... <_<

Use a DVD or BD Player for your source instead of your Xbox. That way you know you have a good valid signal.
