Software Can't Read Memory

So recently my computer has been acting up. I use the Editing Software that came with the Roxio Game Capture SD, and whenever I try to open it, it says that it can't read the memory. I use this editing software for everything. Please tell my how to fix this

Some details would help. What is the exact wording of the error message, and the associated error code you get? "can't read the memory" doesn't really tell us much.
