Morty from Queens
It's impossible for me to get a good idea of what a menu choice will look like in the small format it's in in my burn set-up. Where can I view the menus in a large format? Thanks.
Morty from Queens
Thanks, but that's okay to view one menu, but when you want to select from a bunch of menus, its impracticle. It seems that a person should be able to view these on the Toast website or SOMEWHERE.

It seems that a person should be able to view these on the Toast website or SOMEWHERE. I may have misunderstood what you're wanting to see. If what you're wanting is to see a larger view of the different menu styles then click the Customize... button and click the Menus tab in the window that appears. You'll see a small magnifying glass icon just below the thumbnail image of the menu. Clicking that gives you a larger view. I thought you wanted to see how the finished menu would look. Morty from Queens
Thanks, tsantee!—you the man. Why this isn't in the Help menu of Toast, I don't know. If Toast is listening: put it in the Help menu or somewhere.
tsantee
There's no way to get a good preview of the menu in Toast. What I suggest is choosing Save as Disc Image instead of clicking the burn button. Then select the resulting .toast file using the Image File setting in the Toast Copy window. If it is a video DVD you then can play the menu and videos using DVD Player. If it is a Blu-ray format you can preview the videos using Roxio Video Player and selecting the last title will show the menu. As long as you didn't quit Toast you can go back and edit the menu where needed and the next time you save as disc image or burn the disc all the encoding will already be done. Morty from Queens
Thank you, but have you tried your suggestion, tsantee? I did what you said and the menu didn't show.

Sure, I've done it many times. Are you making a DVD video or a Blu-ray video? If it is a DVD video and you're not seeing the menu in DVD Player then you must have automatic play selected. In this case, choose "DVD Menu" in DVD Player's Go menu.
