Roxio Secure Burn Icon Font

I am using Windows 8.1 (with no problem - until now) and have just experienced a strange thing. The FONT that is now showing up in the desktop icons (I have 2 burners) for the various menu items is now a "fancy" font which is extremely difficult to read.

 

How o I change this font back to (what I assume is Arial)? My thanks in advance for your response.

Boy I would love to be able to write like that with a Pen!

 

It is hard to read though...

 

Never ever heard of that happening It is just within the NXT 2 and not with other programs/apps on your PC???

Ha, ha. Me too. Yep, just within the Burn icon! I re-installed all windows fonts so any deletes would not be an issue. So... now what???

Got it! I had to scroll through 873 fonts (yes, that's how many I have loaded) and managed to identify it as a new font (out of 17) I had recently loaded. It is entitled Mirella Script Limited Free Version.

 

I deleted it from the font folder and now it is back to normal! Darn, I liked that font.

Change it in Widows 8.1. It changed the font, not the software.

Thanks DG. I tried your tip of defaulting the fonts. No luck. And, now that I think about it, I MAY have deleted a few fonts in the font folder???

 

Attached is a blow up of a screen cap. The rest of the desktop icons are fine.
