Cannot Record For Some Reason And Clueless

Hello, i had me some troubles on recording my PS3 gameplay. Every thing is plugged in correctly and when I use any recording software like roxio or NCH. It keeps on saying " No signal " even though It's plug in right. I still got the recording devise on my computer. But even audio wouldn't work. I need help, Please tell me for more info, I really need help asap. If any one can help me that would be traffic. Thank you.

What colour is the "No Signal" (Red or Green) ?.

Green. Most of the time. Then it would turn red right after the message saying " Can Not Record: No signal "

That won't solve your problem.

 

If you are getting a green "No signal" that means your device is not installed correctly.

 

Did you plug in the device after installing the software?
