Vhs To Dvd On Hard Drive

I am using VHS to DVD on a Mac In the lower left my Roxio program shows hard drive space remaining. When I am finished, I move the movies into Imovie. it shows that I have 16.5 space left on the hard drive. How do I remove them from my hard drive, once they are moved to Imovie?

You should be able to do that in the Finder. The captured video should be in either the Easy VHS to DVD Capture folder or the Roxio Video Capture folder in your Movies folder. iMovie makes a copy of its own when importing the video so you can trash the one in the capture folder after the import is complete.
