My Tv Has Black Bars On It Only When Using The Roxio Game Capture Hd Pro

Well, whenever I use the roxio my T.V just has black bars on the sides and makes the T.V non widescreen. But the capture device captures in widescreen just fine.

 

Please help because I don't like playing with non widescreen when my T.V is capable of widescreen.

But to the issue, the RGC is a Pass-through, it only passes along what it receives...

 

Your console output is not widescreen...

 

This can be due to the settings or the game itself. (d't be fooled by using TV settings to make it fill the screen)

 

Look on the game itself, it must list 16:9 for it to be widescreen

 

So why does the game run widescreen when I don't use the roxio hd pro, but when I do use the roxio hd pro the bars appear?

It is not the RGC as NO ONE ELSE has this issue

 

You haven't answered the questions about what console you use but since it is HDMI it has to be an Xbox...

 

You probably have your Xbox set to Auto instead of setting it to a specific output???

Well, I just fixed the issue. I had to click screen button on my remote and it changed it to widescreen.

That also causes it to go into non widescreen, it seems that the roxio is causing this issue,.

No, when I put the hdmi from the console to the roxio then from the roxio a hdmi to the tv it has black bars. But when it is directly to the console from the t.v it's fine,.
