Toshiba External Drive

Question

Every time I try to open up my Toshiba External Drive. The program gives me this response "PhotoSuite has stopped working". It wants me to close down the program until a answer is available. Can any one tell me how to get this program to work with my external drive? I have pictures and videos on that drive. Thanks.

Could you perhaps expand on your post with some explanation on what you are doing and what your are trying to do? All you have said something or other is not working.

As a work-around until you find the cause, perhaps you could keep your stored photos and videos on your portable drive, but temporarily copy the photos and videos you want to work on to a directory on your main drive. That would allow you to keep working with them.

myguggi what I am trying to do is open my external drive so I can access my photo's etc. So that I can work with them. This program stops me with error message "PhotoSuite" has stopped working. I want to put all my photos etc on the external drive but if it doesn't work what use is that.

Do you think reinstall would help?

Why don't you first of all do what Brendon suggested: put your photos and videos on your main drive and see if you still have the same problem? If yes then obviously the problem is not the external drive and a reinstall/repair may help

At what point do you get the error message? You still have not posted what you are doing, step by step.

MYUGUGGI: First thing I do is open the program. Go to photos select edit and opens up all the pictures on the c drive. I then scroll down to the external drive (D) and select that drive. It is at that point I get the error message. Where do you find the repair program
