Conversion Of Flv To Mp4?

JeffNJ

Question

Using Creator NXT, is there a way to convert an FLV video to MP4, with source and destination both being the hard drive? Vide Editing (advanced) doesn't seem to "see" FLV files, and using Copy and Convert, I can't find MP4 as a conversion choice. (I just started using the software, so forgive me if I'm missing something obvious.)

FLV is not supported. The rest of it is irrelevant.

To convert a supported file format to mp4, select video and then custom. There is a drop down for output format; one of those is mpeg4.

Use a free video converter to get what you want. Go to c/net and find one you like. I use "Any Video Converter"

A few days ago, I received by email a reply to this Topic from badbecomesgood, recommending an FLV -> MP4 converter. Not sure why the Reply doesn't appear here in this thread, but I just wanted to say Thanks!

Because it was spam, and it is not allowed on these boards, according to Roxio/Corel.

That reply was advertizing commercial software from a rival company, and the Roxio board is not here to provide free advertizing for Roxio's competitors.

Such adverts are removed, and the poster is warned or banned.
