Can't See Any Of My Itunes Files In Toast 11 Media Browser

flyboy99

Question

I suspect this has not been fixed yet as I can see someone else had/has same issue but here goes:

I can't See Any Of My Itunes Files In Toast 11 Media Browser.

Everything looks fine under the "Data" tab, the Video tab and the Photo tab but the "Audio" tab is empty and I can find no way to populate it.

Toast Titanium 11 Ver 11.2

MAC OS 10.9.1 with all my music in the normal place and other apps are able to find it with no problem.

I "know" I can drag files in but this should work. Why pay for this software if doesn't do what it's supposed to do?

Anyone had and solved this?

Thanks

I'm sorry I don't know what to do about this. On my Mac I'd run DiskWarrior or at least run the disk and permissions repair with Disk Utility.

As I recall you can drag tracks directly from iTunes to Toast when you are viewing them in a playlist.

Have run permissions repair etc. Yes you can just drag from Playlist. It's what I'm going to have to do.

Just on the off chance, did you try rebuilding your itunes library?

Thanks bohalloran. I have just gone through backing up and rebuilding library but had no effect (apart from tidying up my iTunes library so thanks for that.)

Cheers folks for the ideas. It's what you want when you think you've tried everything.

I'm not having this issue on my Macs so it isn't a bug in Toast. I don't know why Toast isn't seeing your iTunes library. You say you have the default location, the default folder name "iTunes" and the default name for the iTunes library and no problem with other apps seeing the library. You might try trashing the Toast plist and prefs files in your User>Library>Preferences folder and relaunch Toast to see if that fixes the problem.

Have just uninstalled and re-installed the package. Nothing has changed.

I'll just have to live with it. *Dash it*
