Unable To Post From New Windows 8 Laptop?

Len Ross

Question

I have a new Samsung Windows 8 laptop. I have downloaded the PhotoShow software. When using my laptop and being on line with PhotoShow, I have not been able to post my shows to my Facebook account? I have searched the tech support to no avail? I can make the posting via my IPhone? Is there a setting that I need to make to do so with my laptop?

There is not good reason to have the issue you are having. The program is operating system neutral. The program makes either mpg or wmv files. I assume that facebook accepts those file types. Is there a size limit for uploads to facebook? Try creating the wmv file and using a facebook uploader to upload the file.

Edit, The program has not been updated for a long time and broken things have NOT been repaired. It is still one of the best photo show making software if you use the downloaded version. Are you?

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I have two laptops and neither will allow me to post from PhotoShow directly to Facebook? I don't think it is a size issue. The reason is hat I can access my PhotoShows with my IPhone and use the phone to post to my FB account. That works smoothly!! When trying to post from PhotoShow, I click on post to FB. I never receive the pop up prompt requesting access to my FB account? It there personal settings that allows this feature???

Thanks so much for trying to help!! You would think that with my being a long time Premium Member of PhotoShow there would be a PHONE NUMBER to call for assistance. It seems like this is how the site makes its $$$$ by wanting to charge $25 to give you support? Their support center is very weak!
