Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error

Jdfellows

Question

I just purchased and installed the Roxio Creator NXT 2 and when I try to save my video project I receive the Runtime Library error.

Program: ...File (x86)\Roxio Creator NXT 2\VideoUI\VideoWave15.exe.

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled, repaired etc and still nothing. I am running the following:

Windows 7 Home Premium (upgrade from vista)

Processor: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU T6500 @ 2.10GHz

Installed memory (RAM) 8.00 GB

System type: 64-bit Operating System

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do a proper repair:

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.
