How Do You Combine Video Clips?

It's a simple question and there's probably a simple answer but How do you go about combining multiple video files in Roxio Creator NXT 2? I have recorded some gaming video using fraps and I had fraps split the files into 4 GB chunks. I have about 8 files to merge into 1 video file.

 

Fyi, I tried using Windows Movie Maker (via the free Windows Essentials download) to combine the files: it reduced the quality of the fraps but it did merge the files. I have the fraps recorded in 1080p HD.

You simply add the video clips in the correct sequnce in the Videowave timeline or storyline and then Output (Export) to a video file

I don't think it's likely that you'll ever get Creator NXT 2 to merge 8 x 4GB files into 1 video file. However would like to hear if you do manage it.

Sure it will do it... The files are AVI uncompressed so it is just a matter of doing like Walt said.

 

Not that different from a 25 or 50 GB Blu-ray project
