harleyrider
Thanks for response! Just so I understand. I was using Roxio VHS-DVD to capture VHS to my external hard drive. Unfortunately I broke pin thats goes from RC connector to capture USB. So now I am looking at buying VHS-DVD3. Want to take VHS put on hard drive. Then from hard drive to DVD. Being tapes are 2-2 1/2 hours and about 6.3 GB, I need to split tape in half. Was trying with Windows Movie maker but had problems. ( Not the sharpest tool when it comes to this). Looking to buy new VHS-DVD3 and Creator Pro by Roxio. Do you know if this will do what I need. Thanks again.
Jim_Hardin
What version do you have now? (Support - About) Starting with the EVD 3 Pro you can allow it to Split the DVD for you! It is a nice feature and it allows you to pick the split point and to make the 2nd disc with the option to either play on insert or have a Menu like the first! So far it is the only Roxio product that has this
Jim_Hardin
Depends on what you really mean If you have an ISO on your HDD, NO! It can only ADD mpg (mepg) file formats, all others are invisible. Sooo if you would have to convert a DVD into its' basic mpeg files then add them. The Creator Suites, NXT 2, can directly burn a DVD Folder set or ISO or pretty much do it all Of course the capture device would then be separate
